Aguere Espacio Cultural is La Laguna's busiest multi-room arts and music venue, set on Calle Herradores in the heart of the historic, UNESCO-listed old town. Since opening in 2011 it has built a varied programme of concerts, DJ nights, comedy, theatre, dance, film and exhibitions, mixing local talent with touring Spanish and international acts.

The building has several spaces. The Live Zone is the main concert room, the Kulture Club handles DJ sessions and parties, Sala Paradiso screens independent and special films, and Aguere Lab hosts immersive shows and exhibitions. Expect anything from rock, rap and indie bands to tribute nights, Halloween parties and stand-up.

Being in the university city, the venue draws a young and lively crowd, especially at weekends. La Laguna's tram stops and the bars and restaurants of Calle Herradores and the surrounding streets are close by, so it is easy to make a night of it before or after a gig.
